Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 July 2026

This is a draft document provided for transparency while our legal terms are being finalized. It may change before launch and does not yet constitute the final, legally reviewed policy. Questions: support@illoow.com.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the illoow platform ("illoow", "we", "us"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

illoow is a website builder and online storefront that lets small businesses ("Sellers") publish sites and collect payments from their customers ("Buyers") through third-party payment processors.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and to operate the business you represent on the platform.

2. Seller responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the products, services, content, pricing, fulfilment, and customer support of the sites and stores you create.

You agree not to use illoow for anything unlawful, deceptive, or prohibited under applicable law, and to hold the rights to any content you publish.

3. Plans, subscriptions, and fees

Paid plans are billed on the cycle shown at checkout (currently annual). Platform transaction fees, where they apply, are disclosed before an order is placed and are snapshotted onto each order.

Prices and fees may change on a prospective basis with reasonable notice; changes do not affect an already-paid subscription period.

4. Payments, wallet, and payouts

Buyer payments are collected by third-party payment processors, not by illoow directly. Funds owed to a Seller are tracked in the Seller’s in-app wallet and paid out on request to the bank account the Seller provides.

Payouts are subject to a minimum withdrawal amount, identity/bank details being valid, and any settlement hold periods disclosed in-app.

5. Refunds

Refunds for a Buyer’s order are a matter between the Buyer and the Seller who sold the item; illoow is not a party to that sale.

To request a refund of a platform subscription payment, contact support@illoow.com from your account email. Subscription refund eligibility follows [REFUND POLICY — TO BE FINALIZED].

6. Account closure and data

You may close your account from Settings. To protect both parties, closure is blocked while money is still in flight — any remaining wallet balance, an unpaid or unsettled order, or a withdrawal in progress must resolve first.

When you close your account we delete your sites and anonymize your profile, but retain order and payment records where required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes.

7. Availability and liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, illoow is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from Seller–Buyer transactions.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION].
